Strength and Agility

Our Strength and Agility program focuses on the basics of body movement and coordination. Plyometrics and light conditioning are used to help athletes improve in all areas of sport. This is a great class for out-of-season or pre-season athletes looking to keep their fitness levels up. Skills and drills learned can cross over to all sports.

Parkour

Have a kid that uses your couch as a playground? We have a class for you! Parkour is an art form that involves moving your body through obstacles by jumping, swinging, running and climbing. It is highly beneficial in teaching kids body control, teamwork, and help increase critical thinking skills. The benefits for physical fitness as well as mental toughness come with facing obstacles on the courses. In this class, athletes will learn how to safely start navigating beginner type moves for this sport.

Athletes ages 5-18

Parkour: Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm

Strength and Agility: Wednesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Sessions run from January 15th - April 2nd 2025.

Extra Costs

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Answer: Mandatory Yearly Membership fee is listed in the registration. If this is not paid at registration for the year, it will be charged to you. Membership fees are new this year. With rising costs of insurance, it is getting harder to front these costs out of our own pocket. We are trying to recoup at least 50% of these fees by charging a fee from all participants to keep this program active and available in our community. This is a standard practice at other facilities!

Volunteer hours are a mandatory requirement for all Acro Stars families. You can opt out of your volunteer hours during registration and pay the opt-out fee.

Volunteering

Volunteering is mandatory unless you pay to opt out at checkout.Cleaning is the biggest way you can fulfill these volunteer hours although there may be some other opportunities throughout the session Please follow this link to sign up for cleaning days.
